One bad vote costs more than a year of Aide.

Stop drowning in hundreds of pages of council reports. Aide turns agenda packs into clear, cited briefs — what's tracking, what's at risk and what's missing — so you walk into every meeting ready.

What councillors say

Aide is a gold-medal-winning app for councillors. I genuinely don’t know how I coped without it.

It doesn’t just summarise hundreds of pages of council reports — it interrogates them. It spots risks, inconsistencies, what’s missing, what’s changed from previous decisions, and whether all that reported “progress” has actually delivered anything measurable.

Best of all, it points you straight to the evidence so you can check it yourself and make your own call.

Less time hunting through page 347. More time asking the questions that actually matter.

Questions

How is Aide different from ChatGPT or Gemini?

Aide isn't a chatbot you interrogate — it's a forensic reasoning analyst built for one job. It ingests your council's agenda pack and returns a structured brief: what's on track, what's at risk, what's unmeasured, and what you're being asked to endorse, with every point cited to its source item or page.

It also carries memory a general AI doesn't have: where your council's Long Term Plan, Annual Plan, or a prior brief for the same council or committee is already on file, Aide automatically checks continuity against them.

Does Aide tell me how to vote?

No. Aide is an analyst, not a decider. It surfaces what's on track, what's at risk, what's unmeasured, and what you're endorsing by accepting — but your judgment, your community knowledge, and your vote remain entirely yours. Read the terms.

Does Aide have a political bias?

No. Aide evaluates process, not policy. It evaluates whether a document is complete, what financial or legal risks are stated, and whether current claims align with previous commitments. It holds no political opinions; it dispassionately maps the facts presented in your council's agenda pack so you can apply your own political judgment.

How does Aide handle AI hallucinations?

AI can make mistakes. Aide makes the risk visible rather than hiding it. Every point cites its source item or page, and if a claim can't be traced to the source, it's left out of the brief rather than guessed at. If Aide struggles to read a densely formatted document, it flags that document as lower-confidence and tells you to double-check the source PDF — rather than silently guessing at pages it read poorly. Treat Aide as a rigorously sourced starting point — it will tell you what it's found, but it doesn't replace your judgement.

How does Aide handle personal information?

Aide works from public council documents — agendas, reports, and adopted plans. Any personal information those documents contain is stripped out before it ever reaches the AI model. The AI reads the scrubbed document once to generate your brief, and the source document is deleted straight afterwards. Your brief stays in your account; the source document doesn't, and the model retains no memory of it. Privacy details.

How does Aide handle public excluded or confidential items?

Aide operates a “process and purge” model, but we do not represent that our handling of confidential and public-excluded papers is compliant under the Privacy Act 2020. Read the terms.

What does a subscription cover?

It covers preparation of briefs from any public council meeting pack you submit — standard agendas as well as progress and monitoring reports. Where your council's Long Term Plan, Annual Plan, or a prior brief for the same committee is already in Aide's library, each new brief is automatically cross-checked against those multi-year commitments, so you're not just seeing today's paper in isolation — you're seeing whether it still lines up with what was promised. Read the scope.

How long does it take for my council's annual and long term plans to be processed?

If Aide already has these plans on file for your council, your briefs will begin to cross-check them immediately. If we don't, please allow 24 hours for processing, from the time you activate your account. We'll notify you as soon as these plans are ready.

How does the trial work?

Your first 14 days cost $2 — charged at $1 per week. After that, billing switches to the full monthly or annual rate you selected, unless cancelled beforehand.

What currency are prices in?

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD). Aide Individual prices include GST; Council Pack prices are shown excluding GST.

Can our whole council get access, not just me?

Yes — that's what the Council Pack is for: every elected member gets access, billing is centralised through your council's purchase order or invoicing, and onboarding is tailored for elected members and staff. Talk to us to set it up.

How does cancelling work?

In one click, from your account — no calls, no forms, no exit fees. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the billing cycle; annual plans cancel at the end of the year.
